Art & Roses is now in its 31st year! This longstanding event is known for promoting local artists with a focus on original art at beautiful Julia Davis Park in Boise, Idaho. A percentage of the sales directly supports the Julia Davis Rose Garden. Featuring over 70 artists, there is something for everyone at this family friendly event! Celebrated annually on the first Sunday in June, rain or shine, this year’s event will be held June 5th from 10-5. We invite you to stroll through the park and meet the artists while enjoying live music by Blaze and Kelly from 10-1 and The BFD from 1-4, incredible eats from Coned Pizza and KB’s Burritos, and delicious treats from Kona Ice and Ankeny Brothers Kettle corn.
Our 2022 Artists include the Raku and Sagar Fired pottery by Genie Sue Weppner, Funky original stained glass by Lesley A Juel, abstract mixed media painting by Becka Watkins, landscape, wildlife and western art by Dave English, watercolor fine art illustrations from Beth Trott, wood engraved painting by Jennifer Kau, landscape painting by Boris Bill Garibyan, one of a kind metal smith jewelry by Kay Seurat, handprinted lino cuts from Laurel Macdonald, and Idaho paintings by the one and only Dany Looney. With over 70 artists to meet, it’s sure to be a fun family friendly event!
