2026 Idaho Transit Day at the Capitol
Hosted by the Community Transportation Association of Idaho (CTAI)

Join transit professionals, community leaders, and advocates from across the state for 2026 Idaho Transit Day at the Capitol—a dedicated day to elevate the role of public transportation in Idaho and engage in meaningful conversations about the challenges and opportunities facing transit agencies today.

This annual gathering brings together urban and rural voices to connect directly with peers, partners, and policymakers. Attendees will hear from national and local leaders, participate in focused panel discussions, and build a shared understanding of how transit supports mobility, economic vitality, and community well-being across Idaho.

The morning program will feature a keynote presentation from Scott Bogren, Executive Director of the Community Transportation Association of America, followed by panels exploring agency-wide operational challenges and the unique funding realities facing rural transit providers. The event will conclude with a hosted lunch at Main Street Station, offering additional time for networking and discussion.

Whether you work in transit operations, planning, advocacy, or policy, this event is an opportunity to learn, share, and help shape the future of transportation in Idaho.
