Idaho Women’s Charitable Foundation 2024 Symposium
BOISE, Idaho (July 27th, 2024) - -– Tables and individual tickets are on sale for the 2024 Idaho Women’s Charitable Foundation (IWCF) Our Shared Environment LEAD (Learn - Engage - Adapt - Discuss) Symposium on October 2, 2024 from 7:30 am until 8:30 pm, at the Boise Centre. Community table sponsorships are available for $2,000 (for 10 people/table) and individual tickets are $125.
This year’s event promises to be impactful, with a special emphasis on environmental breakout sessions designed to foster in-depth learning and dynamic discussions. Topics include community-driven conservation, sustainability efforts by businesses and utilities, university research, student-led activities, and climate-related issues in agriculture, health, home energy, rivers, and wildfire management, each providing actionable steps for participants to contribute positively.
This year’s keynote speakers include Dr. Jonathon Foley from Project Drawdown, an international organization that aims to help the world stop climate change—as quickly, safely, and equitably as possible, and the ReFED executive director, Dana Gunders, who will speak to data-driven solutions to fight food waste. And, The Food Hub is the first-ever Presenting Partner of our symposium.
